HyX® – Selective Contaminant Removal for Industrial Wastewater Treatment and Groundwater Remediation

Ion exchange plays a critical role in the processing of water for selective removal of dissolved contaminants. The applications of ion exchange are extremely varied, with specialty resins tailored for all areas of industry.  One of the key applications for ion exchange in Australia and New Zealand is the management of difficult to treat water and wastewater sources within the industrial, mining and groundwater remediation sectors.

Hydroflux, as a leader in the application of ion exchange technology has designed and built our proprietary HyX® systems for the selective removal of a wide range of pollutants from industrial wastewater, and contaminated groundwater. These include successful projects treating PFAS to below limits of detection, including some of the largest PFAS treatment systems in Australia, as well as specialty systems targeting dissolved metals and nutrients.
